Bengal Commercial Bank organises ‘Annual Risk Conference 2024’

Bengal Commercial Bank PLC recently organised the "Annual Risk Conference 2024" at the bank's head office in the capital's Gulshan, with a pledge to ensure robust risk management, regulatory compliance and to raise awareness on risk management.

Tarik Morshed, managing director and CEO of the bank, inaugurated the conference, the bank said in a press release.

At the event, Morshed reiterated the bank's commitment to building a strong risk management culture at all levels.

ANM Moinul Kabir, director of the Department of Off-Site Supervision (division-2) of the Bangladesh Bank, Mohammad Arif Hasan, joint director, and Robin Chandra Paul, deputy director, attended the conference as resource persons.

KM Awlad Hossain, additional managing director of Bengal Commercial Bank, Md Rafiqul Islam, deputy managing director, Md Humayun Kabir, company secretary, and Pronab Kumar Roy, chief risk officer, along with divisional heads and branch managers of the bank, were also present.
