Eastern Bank opens sub-branch in Uttara

Eastern Bank PLC (EBL) opened a sub-branch as a part of the bank's programme to expand financial services across the country.

M Khorshed Anowar, deputy managing director and head of retail and SME banking of the bank, inaugurated the sub-branch on Lake Drive Road at Sector 7 of Uttara in the capital today, the bank said in a press release.

Farzana Ali, branch area head for Dhaka of the bank, and Rokib Ahmed Mojumder, manager of the sub-branch, along with senior officials and local dignitaries were also present.
