Shimanto Bank stands beside flood victims
Shimanto Bank recently donated money equivalent to one day's salary of bank officials and also from the bank's corporate social responsibility fund for the flood-affected people in different districts of the country.
The financial aid will be given to the Chief Adviser's Relief and Welfare Fund for the people of the flood-hit areas.
Rafiqul Islam, managing director and CEO of the bank, handed over a cheque to Faruk E Azam, adviser to the ministry of disaster management and relief, at his ministry in Dhaka.
Senior officials of the bank and the ministry were also present.
