Anwar Galvanizing's Tk 27cr plan to double galvanised item production

Anwar Galvanizing, a listed concern of Anwar Group, has decided to double its capacity to produce galvanised products within 2022.

The company will invest Tk 27 crore to expand its annual production capacity by 2,417 tonnes to 4,725 tonnes.

The new expansion project will be financed from a mix of own resources and borrowed finance. It is expected to go into operation from end of 2022.

With the expanded production, the market share of the company will increase from 25 per cent to 52 per cent, the company estimates.

The company shared the information with stock investors today through a post at the website of Dhaka Stock Exchange.
