The Bangladesh Association of Contact Center & Outsourcing (BACCO) is launching a new training programme aimed at helping early-stage freelancers accelerate their growth and strengthen their foothold in the global outsourcing market.

Supported by the ICT Division, the initiative, titled "Freelance Focus: Upskilling for a Better Future," seeks to further boost the country's BPO and outsourcing industry by equipping freelancers with advanced, market-ready skills, BACCO said in a statement.

Under the 10-day programme, a total of 60 freelancers will be trained across three batches. BACCO said participants will gain hands-on, industry-relevant expertise tailored to the evolving demands of international freelancing platforms.

The curriculum will include training on optimising profiles on leading marketplaces such as Upwork, Fiverr, and LinkedIn; advanced proposal writing; effective communication with clients; and developing high-quality professional portfolios through practical projects.

Trainees will also receive guidance on pricing strategies, payment management, financial planning, and building a long-term career roadmap.

All sessions will be held at BACCO's in-house training lab.

The courses will be conducted by experienced professionals from the freelancing industry, alongside guest mentors who are well-known figures in the freelancing community, ensuring a comprehensive and impactful learning experience.

Participants who successfully complete the programme will receive certificates and transportation allowances, the association added.
