Digitalisation enabling businesses reach diversified markets: analysts at ICAB webinar

Digitalisation is enabling businesses reach diversified markets and helping the economy to move towards sustainability, analysts said at a webinar today.

Bangladesh still lags far behind many countries as providers and users of ICT services, they said at the event organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB).

The country is struggling in terms of internet speed and achieving the real benefits of using technology, they said.

Ahmed Munirus Saleheen, secretary of the expatriates' welfare and overseas employment ministry, attended the webinar on "Digitalisation: country, business and global perspective".

ICAB President Mahmudul Hasan Khusru was also present.
