Apex Footwear wins three awards at Retail Asia Awards 2026
Apex Footwear Limited has won three awards at the Retail Asia Awards 2026, securing recognition in the AI Initiative of the Year, Footwear Retailer of the Year and Sustainability Initiative of the Year categories.
The awards were presented at a ceremony held at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, according to a press release.
Organised annually by Charlton Media Group, the Retail Asia Awards recognises achievements in retail, technological innovation and industry leadership across the Asia-Pacific region.
Apex won the Footwear Retailer of the Year and Sustainability Initiative of the Year awards for the third consecutive year, having received the same honours in 2024 and 2025.
The company also received the AI Initiative of the Year award for the first time.
Other companies recognised at this year’s awards included 7-Eleven Singapore, Birkenstock South East Asia Pte Ltd, IKEA Hong Kong, MR.DIY and Watsons Singapore.
According to the organisers, entries were evaluated by industry experts from EY-Parthenon, Euromonitor International, KPMG, RSM Singapore, Kearney and PwC Australia.
Apex Chief Executive Officer Firoze Mohammad received the awards on behalf of the company. Md Raihan Kabir, head of marketing, and Arbabur Rahman, head of retail business, also attended the ceremony.
The company said its AI Stylist platform, launched during Eid, played a key role in securing the AI award. The digital tool recorded more than 83,000 sessions and generated nearly 390,000 recommendations, helping fulfil around 9,500 digital orders.

On sustainability, the company said it saved 4.6 million litres of groundwater annually through rainwater harvesting and operates what it described as Bangladesh’s only full-phase LWG Gold-certified Effluent Treatment Plant.
Apex also said it reduced carbon emissions by 2,507.20 tonnes over the past year through solar energy use and recycling initiatives.
The company reported that its retail network now exceeds 500 stores nationwide and serves more than seven million shoppers, supported by 5.8 million registered loyalty customers.
