Arefeen Raafi Ahmed elected as national president of JCI Bangladesh
Arefeen Raafi Ahmed has been elected as National President of Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bangladesh for 2026.
The announcement was made at a programme held at a hotel in Dhaka on December 13, 2025. JCI leaders from across the country attended the event.
In his speech, Arefeen Raafi Ahmed said, "JCI Bangladesh stands at a defining moment- where hope remains, change begins. Vision 2026 is about listening deeply, acting boldly, and empowering young leaders to serve with integrity and innovation. My focus will be on strengthening local chapters, developing future leaders, and aligning our work with global best practices to create meaningful impact."
He has more than a decade of leadership experience across different sectors. He has held several roles within JCI Bangladesh, including Deputy National President in 2025.
Junior Chamber International is a global organisation of young leaders aged 18 to 40. It has more than 200,000 members across over 120 countries. The organisation works on leadership development, community engagement and global collaboration.
