Primary students from Daffodil International School (DIS) achieved notable success at the 7th AUAP Student English Speech Competition held in Bangkok and Pattaya, Thailand.

The students showed strong confidence and communication skills on an international stage.

Both the girls' and boys' teams represented the school and delivered impressive performances among participants from several countries.

Mahiba Zaman Zeeba, a primary student, secured the position of first runner-up, finishing ahead of contestants from different nations. The championship title went to a participant from Bangkok.

School authorities thanked the organisers for creating a platform that brings young learners from around the world together.

The school also acknowledged the support of Kamruzzaman, the team's coach, and the guidance of Nazah Salawat, Principal of Daffodil International School. Parents were also thanked for their encouragement.

Daffodil International School said it will continue to focus on confidence-building, character development and global exposure so that students can perform well both nationally and internationally.
