A prize-giving ceremony was held later in the day. Shish Haider Chowdhury, Secretary of the Information and Communication Technology Division, said, "The innovative power of the youth is the key driving force behind building a Smart Bangladesh. International-standard competitions like ICPC are the best platforms for developing that talent. The government will continue to provide all-out support for such technology-friendly events in the future and will stand by the young programmers."

The ceremony was presided over by A. B. M. Shawkat Ali, Vice Chancellor of BUBT and chair of the contest's executive committee. He said, "The skill of solving programming problems will make you eligible to tackle global challenges. BUBT is always with you on this journey. I believe that today's winners will lead Bangladesh's technology sector on the global stage in the future."

The event was attended by academics, industry representatives and sponsors. Top-ranked teams will represent Bangladesh at the upcoming ICPC World Finals.
