Janata Bank achieves PCI-DSS compliance certification

Janata Bank PLC has achieved the PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) compliance certificate for the third time.

The certification is an international standard for ensuring security and protection of customer data in card-based transactions.

Managing director Md Mazibur Rahman handed over the certificate to chairman of the board of directors Md Fazlur Rahman at a board meeting of the bank.

The bank says the certification reflects its efforts to maintain security standards in card operations and customer data protection, says a press release.
