Seven Rings Cement celebrates Engineer’s Night
Seven Rings Cement hosted Engineer's Night, bringing together architects, engineers and industry professionals to celebrate innovation in Bangladesh's construction and design sector.
Held under the theme "Sketch 2 Structure", the event highlighted the journey from creative concepts to built structures.
The event brought together vice chancellors and professors of BUET, SUST, IUT, DUET, AUST and MIST, along with architects and engineers from IAB, IEB, PWD, RAJUK, CAAB, BSTI, DPHE, Bangladesh Railway, Metro Rail, Dhaka–Ashulia Elevated Expressway, Payra Bridge Project, Dhaka MRT Development, LGED and MES. Senior officials of Seven Rings Cement, including Tahmina Ahmed, Managing Director; S Raihan Ahmed, Vice-Chairman; and Saif Rahman, Director, were also present.
Company representatives reiterated their commitment to supporting Bangladesh's engineering and architecture community. The unveiling of the theme "Sketch 2 Structure" set the focus for the evening.
Tahmina Ahmed said, "Tonight's gathering reflects our commitment to empowering the engineering and architecture community. We believe in fostering collaboration, recognizing talent, and celebrating the passion that drives our nation's progress from sketch to structure."
The programme honoured architects and engineers for their contributions to the built environment. A presentation featuring national projects supported by Seven Rings Cement highlighted the company's role as an industry partner.
The event encouraged networking among senior professionals, young architects and emerging engineers. Cultural performances added to the atmosphere. The gathering also highlighted the importance of collaboration, knowledge-sharing and innovation in advancing national infrastructure.
