Tandhan Denim showcases innovations at Bangladesh Denim Expo
Tandhan Denim participated in the 20th edition of the Bangladesh Denim Expo at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka, showcasing its latest innovations and sustainability initiatives.
Representing the company at the expo, Tandhan Denim Country Head Shakirul Khan (Plabon) highlighted the exhibition theme, “Connected by Distance, Driven by Denim”, according to a press release.
He said, “Our factory is strategically located in Kolkata, near the world’s second-largest garment manufacturing hub, Bangladesh. This enables Tandhan Denim to offer faster turnaround times and reliable supply solutions to our partners and buyers.”
According to the company, Tandhan Denim is the only large-scale denim manufacturing mill in Eastern India, with an annual production capacity of 20 million metres of denim fabric.
The company said its facility includes a Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) plant capable of recycling nearly one million litres of water a day.
Tandhan Denim is part of the Tandhan Group, a diversified conglomerate with operations spanning three decades.

According to Tandhan Denim, its participation in the expo reflects its commitment to strengthening partnerships with Bangladesh’s apparel industry while supporting sustainable growth in the region.
