Career stethoscope
Even though the only constant thing in life is change, you feel your life has been on the same page for too long now. The changes that have inevitably occurred are not welcoming and you feel as if you are drifting away from yourself. Is this depression? Is it normal? Yes it is normal and no it is not depression.
At some point of our lives we all face the impending doom of – Career Crisis.
Starting from the 20's till the day of retirement, people often suffer from sudden dissatisfaction with career but instead of avoiding, learn to identify them. Here are a few symptoms that are hard to miss

Compare despair
You are constantly comparing your career success with your people your age or your parents when they were your age and you take no pleasure in your friends' successes. Your parents probably had kids, a house, a car and most importantly a plan. But what about you? Still struggling to save up on your pay grade while your friend just went on a grand office trip after promotion? It can get quite frustrating.

Paradox
Stuck in a position where you don't like your colleagues? If you can't seem to enjoy the company of anyone new you meet and you feel their work is just as mundane as yours. You are too afraid to meet new people and old friends do not look exciting anymore. Sometimes people don't quit jobs because their significant others said so and it's easy to deduce who ends up being the stress relieving punching bag for the frustrating hours stuck at office. Sometimes people get into an organization to be close to someone they are interested in. Others don't even have a social life let alone the time to look for love.

Nostalgia
Do you find yourself reminiscing about childhood, high school or college achievements? And often think that you are not as accomplished and talented as you were and regret joining the workplace you are in currently? Do you panic when you think your efforts are not as good as before and your boss might find it out? It's like a thunder on your head all of a sudden and you realize that life is not what you thought it was.

High fly or low blow
The habit of constant daydreaming about far-fetched job offers but crippling while acting upon it. Strings of thoughts start from quitting job, moving to another country, study more or take up a new career. Sadly you don't know what you want but anything sounds more appealing than the rut you currently seem to be stuck in. Even though you hold the freedom to choose any opportunity to change the world, you'd almost prefer the difficult crisis that is too predictable or instable. You are scared to switch jobs because there is a vast fear of failure and lack of fulfillment you are afraid of going back to where it started from. The whole idea of changing the world baffles your constantly.

Fear of failure
We are never really afraid of failure at young age, unless our parents are obsessed with good grades. But, all of a sudden, the idea of failing terrorizes you and every failure looks like a dead end point for the near future opportunities. Failing at something gives you the feeling that you will continue to fail.
