Eid Shoppers' Delight

Markets around the capital wear a festive look before the upcoming Eid festival. Shoppers in their thousands throng to the many shopping centres spread around the city purchasing presents for themselves or their loved ones. Some of the top names in retail are also offering attractive discounts and offers to draw more customers. Sales of electronics, clothes, vehicles and gift items are all expected to rise. The photos were taken at Bashundhara City shopping mall, New Market and Baitul Mukkaram market, capturing the enthusiasm seen in both the oldest markets in the city and the newest. Local traders expect brisk business while they woo shoppers using the latest products available.
