Life Not on Track

The railway slums were immortalised and romanticised by the famous words of the legendary Azam Khan. The bleak picture he painted still rings true to this day. An entire community of people are forced to live dangerously close to rail tracks snaking around the city. Cocooned in the sounds of the passing trains whose sirens act as their clock, people here are born, get married and live their day to lives in a world where impending death has become just an afterthought.
