Fruits of Our Labour

The three-day national fruit fair, which began on Sunday, marked the season of fruits that has descended upon Bangladesh. The event aimed to showcase the rich bounties the country has to offer during summer. Mangoes, litchis, jackfruits, guavas and many other fruits were presented in elaborate displays. The fair perfectly summed up the fertile nature of the region, especially the northern and central parts. The event was held at Krishibid Institution Bangladesh in Dhaka’s Farmgate and was organised by the Ministry of Agriculture.
