Rise of the machines

An exhibition showcasing the latest agricultural machineries attracted a lot of visitors recently. The exhibition held at Krishibid Institution Bangladesh in the capital was organised by the Ministry of Agriculture. The large crowds at the fair highlighted the rising demand for such machineries in the face of a gradual decline in workers in the sector. The machines included solar-run irrigation pumps, threshers, automatic milking machines, vegetable washing machines and solar-run well pumps. The turn towards more green energy sources was also a prevailing theme for most of the machines.
