When Inundation Is A Constant

Floods over the last two months have ravaged the country. Bangladeshis' famed resilience now includes going about their daily activities with inundation of homesteads, inside homes and in front of community clinics, while also accepting that an entire school building can be swallowed by the flood. Makeshift rafts have become commonplace, rickshaw-vans in villages have been replaced by boats to transport goods, and the ubiquitous earthen stoves raised above water levels inside rural kitchens.
