Probhat Ferry on Ekushey

Nurses, top, of several hospitals wearing white take part in the probhat ferry on Ekushey February. The young ones woke up early in the morning of February 21 and walked on the city streets bare feet to get to the Central Shaheed Minar in Dhaka. With flowers in their hands and some with the national flag, they waited in queue to pay respect to the language heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice so that they could speak in Bangla. Ekushey February in now the International Mother Language Day.
