2 buses for females hit Ctg roads today

Two new buses of Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) will start operating between Chittagong University and the port city today to carry only female passengers.

Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader announced the decision at a youth conference at a local hotel yesterday when some female students of CU raised the demand. The buses would start running between CU and New Market today for only females and CU students with a 50 percent fare waiver.
