2-day workshop on urban poverty reduction begins in capital

A two-day workshop on urban poverty reduction in Bangladesh began at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in the capital yesterday, said a press release.
The Urban Partnerships for Poverty Reduction (UPPR) organised the workshop. Abdul Malek, secretary of Local Government Division , chaired the opening session where Pauline Tamesis, country director of the UNDP, was also present.
