Boy dies falling off train roof

A boy was killed and two others were injured after falling off the roof of a train engine when it collided with another train parked at Joydebpur railway station yesterday.

Mamun, 10, son of Kashem Miah of Phulpur upazila in Mymenshigh, died on the spot.

Officials said the accident took place around 7:30pm when the engine of "Turag Express" from Rajshahi, collided with "Durotojan Express", parked across the track.

The train engine was running on the wrong track and the three boys, who were riding on its roof, fell off and hit the parked train on the momentum.
