Chinese firm keen on Jamuna tunnel

Jigiang Construction Investment Group Company Limited, a Chinese state-run group of companies, showed its interest in constructing a tunnel under the river Jamuna in Bangladesh, when a delegation of the firm called on Minister for Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader in Hong Kong Friday.
The minister suggested the company representatives to send their proposal formally to Bangladesh government.
