CMP asks residents to wrap up celebration by 5:00pm

Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) yesterday asked the city dwellers to conclude their Pahela Baishakh celebration within 5:00pm at the recreational centers of the city.
Besides, visitors are also asked not to stay at Patenga and Parki beaches after 5:00pm to keep the law and order situation under control.
CMP directives also banned bringing any licensed fire-arms at rallies or festival grounds and blasting crackers during festival without prior approval, said a CMP statement.
