Cop dies in road crash

A cop died and another was injured when a truck hit their motorcycle while they were chasing smugglers during an anti-smuggling drive on Jessore-Chaugachha road at Dogachhia in Jessore yesterday.
The deceased Ismail Hossain, 55, of Natore was a constable of Sajiali Police Camp under Kotwali Police Station.
The injured Asad, assistant sub-inspector, is undergoing treatment at Jessore Police Line Hospital.
