Ctg Jamaat ameer released from jail

Chittagong city unit Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer ANM Shamsul Islam was released from Chittagong Central Jail yesterday on bail.

He is accused in seven cases filed with different police stations over subversive activities, said deputy Jailor Jahedul Islam. Police arrested him in May, 2014, with 21 other Jamaat leaders and activists from the party's Chittagong city office in Dewan Bazar area.

Later, the Jamaat leader was arrested three times from in front of the jail gate after he was released from jail.
