Daily Star correspondent gets Brac media award

Farhana Mirza, Munshiganj district correspondent of The Daily Star, has got Brac Media Award-2015 for her professional role in reducing tuberculosis.

Health Minister Mohammad Nasim handed over the award at a programme in Brac Centre auditorium of the capital yesterday.

Brac has been giving the award since 2008. This year, 22 reporters and three media houses received it in different categories.
