Death anniversary

Today is the third death anniversary of renowned photojournalist Shawkat Jamil Khan, says a press release.

Jamil suffered a massive stroke while he was on duty as a senior photojournalist of The Daily Star and breathed his last on this day in 2012.

On the occasion, a Qurankhwani and a doa mahfil will be held in his residences at the capital's Shegunbagicha and Barisal's Katpatti.

His well-wishers are requested to pray for the salvation of the departed soul.
