Fourth Dhaka Comicon starts tomorrow

Bangladeshi comic characters will be promoted at the fourth Dhaka Comicon, which will be launched at the capital's Jamuna Future Park tomorrow, said organisers yesterday.

Bangladeshi comic books featuring characters like Sabash, Jitu, Zooey, CK, Durjoy, Rishad and Dakabuka will be available besides international comic books and posters at the three-day comic book convention from 11:00am to 8:00pm, said Saadi Rahman, an organiser at a press briefing at The Daily Star Centre.

The convention brings cosplay and live art competitions, comic figure photo contest, toy display museum, gaming events, and many other exciting activities including concerts by prominent artistes.

Comicon organisers of America, Italy, India and Thailand will participate at the event. Florida-based videography organisation named "11th Hour" will shoot the whole event.

Tickets, Tk 200 for per day and Tk 500 for all three days, are available at Bikroy.com as well as at the venue.
