Gypsy women get sewing machines

At least 65 women of the river gypsy community yesterday got 65 sewing machines from a Kuwait-based NGO Moushru al Zari in Savar outside the capital.
The distribution came after training participated by the community people on swing which was organised by the Department of Youth Development, Savar upazila and coordinated by the police department.
Habibur Rahman, superintendent of police in Dhaka district, handed over the machines through a programme in Savar Model Police Station.
