Another person has been killed on his house premises in the capital's Bhashantek.
Bhashantek police was near the six-storey under-construction building at Dewan Para yesterday when Anwar Hossain Dewan, 45, fell from its second floor where he used to reside with his family.
Police reached there around 7:00am on information that Anwar's group was about to clash with the group of his relative, Ibrahim  Dewan, over naming their family mosque in the area. Some 70 people led by Ibrahim had already gathered near the house before police reached the spot, said Sub-Inspector Rezaul Karim of Bhashantek Police Station.
Anwar's wife Nila alleged that some relatives pushed her husband off the building over a previous land dispute but she did not specify any name immediately.
Anwar suffered injuries in the waist and died while being taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital from Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital, he added.
On Sunday, another man was killed in his house in Gendaria.
