Motorcycle registration made easier through installments

The Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges has introduced a new payment plan for motorbike registration fees.

Previously, a person had to pay Tk 13,913 at a time for a 100CC motorbike and Tk 21,273 for above 100cc. Now it is Tk 9,313 and Tk 12,073 respectively as a down payment and the remaining Tk 4,600 and Tk 9,200 can be paid in four equal installments in 8 years.

The ministry yesterday issued a circular introducing the new system that will soon come into effect.
