Obituary

Angury Begum Azam, mother of architect Rafiq Azam, passed away at a hospital in the capital yesterday. She was 80.

Angury, wife of Mohammad Azam, left behind five sons, four daughters and grandchildren. She was buried at Azimpur graveyard following a namaz-e-janaza at Lalbagh fort mosque after Asr prayers.

Her qulkhwani will be held at house 55, road 6/A Dhanmondi tomorrow after Asr prayers.
