Obituary

Abdul Hakim Bhuiyan, a central leader of Ershad-led Jatiya Party and former chairman of Mymensingh's Nandail upazila, died of old age complications at Birdem Hospital in the capital early yesterday.

He was 82.

Also, he was the grandfather of Iswarganj Correspondent of The Daily Kalerkantho Alam Farazi.

Hakim left behind his wife, two sons, two daughters and grandchildren.

He was buried at his family graveyard following a namaz-e-janaza in Nandail.
