Abdul Mobin, chairman of Bangladesh Islamic Party which is an ally of the BNP-led 20-party alliance, died from a stroke in Dhaka's Lab Aid hospital yesterday, aged 63.
He left behind his wife, five sons and a daughter.
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia expressed deep shock at the death of Abdul Mobin.
He will be buried at his Khosbas village home in Borura upazila of Comilla after a namaz-e-janaza there at 11:00am, Islamic Party sources said.
