RCC to construct bicycle lanes

Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) is going to construct separate lane along the city streets for unhindered bicycle riding by children including the juveniles and adolescents in the city.

Initially, RCC will construct a lane from Fire Brigade crossing to C&B crossing under its 'Zero Soil' project, which is now being implemented aimed at planting new trees throughout the city.

RCC former mayor AHM Khairuzzaman Liton and present mayor-in-charge Nizam Ul Azim opened the construction works in a ceremony at Kazihata area Sunday.

Speaking to the programme, former mayor Liton hoped that the initiative will benefit the juveniles alongside the pedestrians.
