Road crashes kill 5, injure 22

Five people were killed and 22 others injured in road accidents in five districts yesterday and Saturday.
In Dinajpur, A BGB man died when a bus hit his motorcycle on Dinajpur-Rangpur highway in front of Ansar VDP office yesterday.
The deceased was Shafiqul Islam, 25, of Paharpur area.
In Chittagong, Rani Akther, 25, a RMG worker, died when a bus ran her over at sector four inside Chittagong EPZ area yesterday.
Around 16 RMG workers were also injured as the bus carrying them plunged into a roadside canal.
In Natore Sadar, Shawkat Ali, 30, of Bonbelgharia village died and six people were injured when a truck rammed into an auto-rickshaw in Tebaria area yesterday.
In Chapainawabganj, Waheduzzaman, 12, son of Zinnur Rahman of Umarpur village died when a truck hit his bicycle in Kansat area of Shibganj upazila yesterday.
In Panchagarh, Mir Ali, 45, of Nazirjoth village died when a truck hit his motorcyclist on Tentulia-Banglabandha road in Tentulia upazila on Saturday.
