Road crashes kill 6

Six people were killed and 10 others injured in road accidents in five districts yesterday.

Our Khulna correspondent reports, two traders were killed as a truck rammed a motorbike they were riding in Chuknagar of Dumuria yesterday morning. They were Anwar Hossain and Mahabubur Rahman.

Our Cox's Bazar correspondent reports, Md Idris, 20, and Nurjahan, 40, were killed and four others injured as a microbus hit a CNG-run auto-rickshaw on Cox's Bazar-Teknaf highway in Teknaf land port area.

Our staff correspondent from Chittagong reports, Moni Akter, 8, daughter of Nobi Islam, was killed and two others were injured as a BRTC bus hit a human hauler in Patiya upazila. 

Our Gaibandha correspondent adds, Shakil, 24, was killed and four others were injured as a human hauler and a power tiller collided head-on on Palashbari-Kasiabari road .
