Shahidul Alam delivers lecture on use of visuals in citizen journalism at RU

A lecture on the usage of visuals in citizen journalism by internationally acclaimed photographer Shahidul Alam kicked off at Rajshahi University (RU) this morning.

The Department of Mass Communication and Journalism of RU in collaboration with Germany's leading provider of international media training DW Akademie arranged the programme.

Shahidul came up with a visual presentation on use of photographs and visuals in citizen journalism.

Chairperson of RU journalism department Abdullah Al Mamun presented ceremonial scarf to Alam. About 300 students and teachers were present at the event.
