SSC examinee dies as scarf gets entangled with human-hauler wheel

A female Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinee was killed as her scarf got entangled with a wheel of a human-hauler in Dasharpar area in Haluaghat upazila of Mymensingh yesterday.

A member of Garo community Merina Nokrek, 15, -- daughter of Ganak Majhi of Pubo Gubrakura village -- was returning home after attending her first SSC examination that was held in the morning, said police.

Her scarf got itself entangled and knotted tightly around her neck strangling her to death, police added.
