Sylhet JCD leader held in violence cases

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested Sylhet district unit Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) President Sayeed Ahmed in the city's Upashahar area on Friday evening.

Sayeed was handed over to Shahporan Police Station yesterday. Rab-9 said he was an accused in several cases for creating violence during the blockade enforced by BNP-led alliance.
