19 crude bombs recovered in Ashulia

Law enforcers today recovered 19 cocktails from an abandoned bag in Ashulia of Savar.

Ashulia Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdul Awal said locals found the cocktails inside an abandoned bag in Bashaid area and informed police around 11:00am. 

On information, police rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area.

Later, a team of Criminal Investigation Department’s bomb disposal unit recovered the bombs and defused those around 5:45pm, the OC said.
