2 held with fake Indian notes

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested two men with counterfeit Indian currencies worth Rs 3 lakh at Dadon Chak village in Shibganj upazila of the district on Sunday night. The arrestees are Md Moinuddin, 30, son of Md Nurtaj Ali of Raghabbati -Parchouka village, and Helal Uddin, 20, son of Md Hasan Ali of Monakasha -Sonarpara village in the upazila. On information, a team of Rab-5 raided the area and arrested the duo with the fake currencies. They were later handed over to Shibganj Police Station, said Assistant Superintendent of Police Alok Biswas, commander of Chapainawabganj Rab camp.
