3 JMB men sent to jail in Kushtia

A Kushtia court yesterday sent three suspected activists of banned militant outfit Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) to jail after their three-day remand had ended on Monday.

Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Mustafizur Rahman passed the order after police produced the four before his court in the afternoon.

Kushtia Detective Branch (DB) of Police interrogated the four JMB men--Azizul, Saiful, Saijuddin and Joynal--for three days in connection with a case filed for killing homeopath Sanaur Rahman.

The arrestees admitted their involvement in Sanaur's killing, said Sabbirul Islam, in-charge of Kushtia DB.
