6-hr hartal in Rajshahi city for Dec 11

Nagorik Odhikar Sangrokkhan Sangram Parishad has called for a six-hour hartal (strike) in Rajshahi city on December 11 to press home its four-point demand including reduction of increased holding tax imposed by Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC).

Enamul Haque, convener of the parishad formed consisting of 13 organisations, announced this at a press conference at their office at Sonadighir intersection in the city.

Their other demands to the RCC are reducing trade license charge and withdrawing sign board fee.
