Coast Guard members today seized 600kg hilsa fish and detained 38 fishermen for fishing hilsa illegally in the Bay of Bengal.
A mobile court led by Tamim Al Yamin, executive magistrate of Chittagong district administration, sentenced them to 15-day imprisonment this afternoon.

The fishermen have been jailed for illegally fishing hilsa, he added.
