Police in overnight drives arrested nine more people for their alleged involvement in recent attacks on Hindu minorities in Nasirnagar upazila of Brahmanbaria.
With this, a total of 53 people have been arrested in connection with the attack that left nearly 100 houses and a number of temples vandalised on October 30.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. The arrests were made based on several video footages which were filmed during the October 30 mayhem, Abu Zafar, the newly appointed OC of Nasirnagar Police Station told The Daily Star over mobile phone.
The identity of the arrestees could not be known immediately.
