BTRC opens registration for public hearing

Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has begun the registration process for public hearing to know about the mobile phone users' complaints and experiences on the quality of services.

The public hearing is scheduled to be held on November 22.

Any individual user can register his/her name on the BTRC website till November 15, said Sarwar Alam, secretary of the telecom watchdog.

BTRC has decided to entertain around 300 customers. The event will take place at the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh auditorium at Ramna in Dhaka.

This is for the first time, BTRC is going to host such event to resolve mobile related issues.

BTRC Chairman Shahjahan Mahmood said, "It will help to improve quality of services of the operators on the basis of customers' feedback."
