Colleges with zero pass rate to lose MPO

The education ministry has asked the authorities concerned to scrap Monthly Pay Order (MPO) and other facilities of the educational institutions with zero pass rates in HSC and equivalent examinations in 2016.

The ministry today issued a circular asking the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) to make the decision effective immediately.

The decision will remain effective until further order of the government, said a press note of the ministry.
